Mask Usage Update May 4, 2021

Late yesterday, the Florida DOE sent out a memo attempting to clarify the Executive Orders. The memo said, in part: Neither EO-21-101 nor EO-21-102 impact any school district’s policies for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year.
There is a School Board Policy in place (8450.01) that gives the Superintendent the authority to require masks or face coverings due to the “immediate and continued danger of the spread of COVID-19.”
All Pasco Schools will maintain the mask requirement for all students, staff, and campus visitors for the remainder of the year.
We appreciate the support of our community, as we try to finish the year strong!
Thank you.
